Beautiful tropical oasis in busy Seminyak

These villas felt a world away from the chaos and noise of Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak. The tropical garden and pool are lovely, you can get a massage/pedicure/manicure poolside any time of the day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Villas were spacious with 3 shower options - outside, inside and in the bathtub. The changing room between the bedroom and bathroom was really good. They provide security boxes in the room and mosquito nets/air con were appreciated. The location is good for the night spots close by, but the beach in this part of Seminyak was very unappealing, rubbish-strewn and no swimming allowed anyway.
Only thing I would suggest is that staff keep a basic first aid kit on hand, as my friend fell in a stormwater drain outside and injured her foot and knee. Bandaids and antiseptic at the very least would have been good - and a warning to guests to be careful when walking on the pavement directly outside the hotel, especially at night. This would have been appreciated. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay here.
Very good

Tony's villa is the place we Will always choose whenever we have trip to Bali.the service are very good the people are very nice the location is great close to all the nice places, good restaurant and shops.Just things they need to put more attention is to clean under the bedroom cause when we were check in on my last trip on January its was not really clean,I need to tell them to come and clean it, after that its fine and also they need to cut some of the trees it's to much..except that Tony's villa is a great place to stay.

We enjoyed a lot our recent short stay at Tony's Villas. The hotel is officially rated 4 star, so what we have seen and experienced was definitely beyond our expectations: beautiful hotel grounds with gardens, koy-pond and a pool. Our private villa with pool was fantastic and definitely worth the money paid. Resort is very well maintaned, room and open-air bathroom are very clean and welcoming. Breakfast is somewhat simple, but ok and if you want veriety - BIKU Restaurant is just around the corner with fantastic food and reasonable prices, and breakfast service is until 5PM! In front of the hotel there is one of the best trendy night clubs in Seminyak area, called MINT - best DJs and very trendy crowd; can become somewhat loud on Friday and Saturday nights, but we took this very positive as its easy and chique to go out on weekend night.
Our best impression though was the staff - extremely friendly and efficient. We definitely got the feeling that for them the most important was to make us happy and always with a sincere smile!
To imporve: WIFI is only available in the Lobby area, would be great to have this in rooms as well

Tony`s villas were expected to be a calm and a nice place for relaxing holidays.
It was so in our first days. but 30/12/2011 the nightclub Mint was opened in front of Tony`s villas - we couldn`t sleep well from thursday till sunday. It was a terrrible bass music noise all the night and sometimes - even in the early morning- like 7 am- they checked music before parties.
It is really dissapointing.
We were moved from 2004 (if I`m not mistaken at the room number) to 2009- but it didn`t help.
At the same time the hotel is quite ok. The pool is not big but very nice. (but only 10 sun beds), you can have massage near the pool.
No room service, but food in the restaurant is not bad.
During the day and nights Mon-Wed - it is very quiet place surrounded with fantastic tropical greenery
Great villas, outstanding location!

My wife and I stayed 6 nights in a pool villa which we do every time we visit Bali (3-4 times per year). Tony's was quite adequate in that it was clean, well maintained, sufficiently spacious and met our needs both from a lifestyle and holiday perspective. The location is great as it is close to many good restaurants and nightlife and yet the area isn't overcrowded as other parts of Seminyak, Legian and Kuta can be. The staff were wonderful and always accommodating with a smile on their face! Some future needs include new, clean white bath towels, larger pool towels, wi-fi in the rooms and some variety to the breakfast. Whilst the breakfast was included, it was adequate, however for the last 2 mornings of our stay we went elsewhere as we were tired of the same ol' same ol'. It only needs to include some yoghurt, muesli, more jams, vegemite etc - not expensive changes but just enough to add some variety and give greater choice. Hardly the fault of management however what was most noticeable of an evening was the noise from the local nightclub, the constant fireworks and the barking dogs
All in all a great holiday in a very comfortable villa complex which represents great value!!
Nice low-key option in Seminyak

A nice low-key hotel in a good area ... not flash but comfortable ... rooms are a decent size ... the rooms at the back do get noise from a nearby nightclub ... staff are friendly and accommodating ... good breakfast options ... the garden setting is restful, with lovely flowers, and seems reasonably well maintained ... there were 3 of us in our group and we all felt really at home there.

Good location, close to Potato Head and Ku De Ta. Nice surrounds with grown shrubs and floral plants with central pool. Food at restaruant is rated 7 out of 10 and is convenient with good range of cuisine. Service generally was very good except if there are no towels at the pool you have to ring the room service even though there were two staff there that could have done it for you or made sure there were towels available. The villas were nice and reasonable for the nightly rate. Only issue is the noise from the night club across the road, this could be a pain if you are a light sleeper until 3am in the morning.
Overall good.
Amazing - can't wait to go back!

Our 3 night stay in the pool villa was absolutely wonderful & exceeded our expectations. It is a lovely property in a great part of seminyak right near potato head beach club. The pool was incredible!, perfect temp & colour. The outdoor bathroom was a treat aswell complete with large stone bath. Wifi just in lobby but not a huge prob. We had some nice basic food from restaurant too & had our washing done which was a great service. Will definitely stay here again. Can't speak for the bungalows but pool villa is a winner!

After some weeks travelling in less touristic islands in Indonesia, Tony's Villas was a nice treat to recover and pamper ourselves. The rooms spacious and the bathroom great. You'll know what I mean if you've been around Indonesia. Swiming pool area was perfect, lush garden, included orquideas and many other beautiful plants. Very nice stay overall
It's a gem!!!

We stayed at Tony’s Villas for 5 nights just (late November 2011). The location is excellent, the personable staff, were great especially Wayang, Erik, Visa and Made – everyday, we request different menu for our meals, different tour routes but hey they did it without charging us extra. We stayed in a standard room. The room was large and clean. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. My travel companion was very fussy also had no issues at all.
Overall, a great location, clean room, comfy bed, pleasant staff and a decent b’fast to start your day, they treat you like a family member starting from day 2. Small, quite and very homely, will always recomend to friends going to Bali.

I stayed at Tony’s Villas for 3 nights in late October 2011. The location is excellent, the hotel pretty good, very nice and personable staff, but a little inefficient – but hey its Bali. I stayed in a Pinky Villa with own pool. The room was large but did have a slight musty smell. The outdoor shower was a nice touch, although my shower drain did not drain properly. My travel companion stayed in a standard room – he had no issues at all.
Overall, a great location, clean room, comfy bed, pleasant staff and a decent b’fast to start your day.

Great location.. being in seminyak we expected it to be crowded or busy. but the villas were nicely tucked in gardens and it was quite peaceful. easy access to all things in seminyak.
Good value and 'secluded' location, pleasant staff

The villa's are very spacious with good ac, clean and quiet. however, in my case i had a villa on the right hand side of the tree-lined pathway heading towards the pool. this means it backs onto the main road where thumping club music came from an open bar until 6am. there was also construction work next to that and workers were there from early on. the setting is like a tropical garden, with very dense foliage and high tress circling the villas right up to the windows, making it seem a little dull if cooler inside. this dense foliage also means mosquitoes can be an issue.
Good location, friendly staff, lovely place

Short but sweet stay at tony's villa. staff was lovely and friendly. good location in a quieter part of seminyak, but still lots of great shops and restaurants within walking distance. big comfortable rooms and outdoor bathrooms (one of my favourite things about bali). only on possible nuisance - there is a club not too far off that can possibly be heard at night if you're a light sleeper or jet-lagged.
Beautiful little property but mozzies a problem

Tonys is a lovely little property, old style bali rooms with real character, comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms, lovely staff. the breakfasts are on the small and simple side and the facilities are simple, perhaps even a bit lacking and unfortunately the mosquitos are a real problem, they try very hard to manage it, providing spray and plug in repellents in the rooms and fumigating wednesdays and saturdays, but the mosquitos remain bad enough that i probably wouldn't stay there again, which is a shame because it really is a nice comfy welcoming little place !
Quite a lovely escape from the busy streets

Tony's is really a very fine place. the service is excellent if not the most friendly, but that's fine with me. the only real downside to this place is the mosquitoes. this place is lush with plants, trees, shrubs, etc. while this adds to it's beauty, it definitely creates quite a problem with the mosquitoes. the staff is quick to point out the buzz spray and electronic bug film plug-in thing but they are completely ineffective. if you let them in the room, they're in for the night and get ready to get bitten. i don't know what they can do to rectify this problem other than cut back the lush nature significantly. this will most likely keep me from returning to tony's.
Pleasant hotel with a nice quiet environment

The villas are really nice to stay in, with a comfortabe bed and good decor. The outdoor shower is a cute gimmick, more to look good than to be functional. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Service was great and the breakfast was fine. The gardens are a nice place to relax in peace and quiet and there's also a decent pool. All in all, a decent place to stay. You can easily walk to the beach or the town within 15 minutes.
As many have said before... Beware of the mosquito

Tony's is really a fine place to stay. if you don't mine the mosquitoes, we found it tolorable, but kinda annoying. bring coils and spray and you'll be fine. the only reason tony's get a bad rap for mosquitoes is that it's got a really lush, woodsy/jungle vibe and it's just the price you pay for that environment. that said, i will not be going back when there are so many other options in the area. the price was right and we enjoyed it otherwise.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile

I spent 2 hours driving around seminyak just to find this hotel. and finally i found it at kerobokan are (in front of potato beach hotel and restaurant) Nice place..but be prepared to bring insect repellents! got so many mosquito. I loved the bathroom. It has outdoor shower, stoned bath tub and indoor shower.

We spent there four night and enjoyed the quiet rooms and the nice gardens. i found only one annoying thing the mosquitos. several other place the bed are covered with mosquito net which would have been required in nights. the spray was offered but i could not choose between the stings or the smell of the spray.

A great villa/hotel with a room with pool and garden with a soothing feeling. also the common pool is good, even though it feels a little old, but after a while it is charming and different from all the new infinity pools elsewhere. a tip, dont eat the food at the hotel, it ranges from plain to really bad.

The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful. The hotel rooms were a decent size and were clean. All in all, a conveniently located hotel and it would be most suitable for young solo or couple travelers.

For the first time I used was very pleased. The room was also lovely, and very nice airy spacious bathroom. Is small, was relaxing in a pool go out there one day. The restaurant is relatively cheap, good. Night, the sound became a little care in front of the club late, there was no problem.

Decided to try the villas out here at Tony Villa, as previously had stayed in the Bungalows. and having been spoiled with some superb villas on this trip, just had to keep the villa theme going.
We were upgraded to what they call a Royal Villa, with a huge bathroom area, indoor /outdoor. really nice. The plunge pool was small, and included a very small outdoor dining area.
They have been around for 4 years or so, but still retain their Bali beauty. The bungalows are about 11years old, but very good value. Lots of the staff are still there from our last visit, smiling & happy, and very good at what they do. Internet only available in the Atrium Restaurant area, but its very pleasant listening to peaceful music whilst working online.
Fantastic breakfast, (if in a villa can be taken there or in the restaurant) with the development of new restaurants & bars and shopping in the immediate precinct, (growing all the time) its still a peaceful haven close to the action.

Booked this based on T.A. reviews. And it didn't dissapoint. there are private villas and more traditional "bungalows", guess you could call them the original villas. great big rooms, huge beds, garden style bathrooms. very quiet location, away from the road, 5 min walk to Laksmana where all the restaurants are, 5 min walk to beach. right next to Biku, and although havent eaten there everyone raves about it. Stack on other restaurants within 500 mts. This area is going through major change with new places popping up all the time, but Tonys was celebrating 10 years this month, and its still delightful. Free wi-fi in lobby, but not in rooms.
Tony's Villas is a great location and a little oasis in Seminyak

We stayed for a week at Tony's Villa's in their family room. Standard villa with a connecting room with a king size bed. It is spacious and quite basic but great with kids. The central pool means you avoid the drama and fear of a villa with your own pool. We have travelled with 3 sons, 8, 5 and 2. There are rarely lots of kids but they still had fun. Great poolside menu - all the food is delicious and very reasonable. beautiful breakfast served in the restaurant.
Ideal to be right in the action of seminyak - nect door to Biku, close to Bodyworks, Ku De Ta and the shopping stip of Seminyak. With a family of 5 it is a great solution as it is hard to get enough rooms etc in seminyak without costing a fortune.
Good value, excellent location, mostly very friendly staff

Good value given the prices of nearby hotels and villas. An excellent location for the beach (4-5 mins walk), Seminyak town centre (3 mins in a taxi) and food/yoga, etc. Good pool too for when the beach was closed due to large waves.
Mostly friendly staff with a few grumpy people, but given the arrogance and expectations of some guests I can understand this. The room was spacious and tidy. A few things did look a bit tired in the room but for the price paid I was very happy. Good value pick up from the airport at 100k.
